Marinated anchovies with a gin martini.

Have you had boquerones yet?

Boquerones are anchovies marinated in white wine vinegar and salt, mouth puckering in the best way.

If you aren’t a fan of regular anchovies in oil because they seem too fishy (??!) these are a great option.

I love them on jammy eggs, as the pickled item in any salad, but they are simplest just on great bread with good butter to balance out the acidity. Pictured here is the Bay Bae SF sourdough from @5098bread and @kerrygoldusa unsalted Irish butter.

Add in a gin martini with @futuregin and cocktail hour or movie night (or breakfast?) is 👏.

Nassari is a company built off 5 generations of fishermen in Spain, and these anchovies are cleaned by hand one at a time. A true craft and labor of love!
