Fishwife Sardines with Preserved Lemon
These meaty shiny ‘dines are absolutely delicious. You get 3-4 large sardines per tin, with a luscious piece of preserved lemon that is perfect to slice and put on top of your bite.
MOST excitingly, these sardines are responsibly wild caught off the coast of Cornwall at the only MSC certified sardine fishery in Europe from July to April when sardine quality is at its peak. The sardines are then hand packed in glorious Spanish olive oil, preserved lemon and a touch of sea salt in Galicia, Spain.
As someone who isn’t a fan of spines in my tins, the large size of these sardines made it super easy to open up the fish and remove the spine in one piece. Or if you are way cooler than me go ahead and enjoy those spines!
