Jose Gourmet Smoked Trout Fillets in Olive Oil
Jose Gourmet has done it again with another perfect tin.
Large fillets of skin on, boneless trout smoked to what I would call a medium amount (not too light, not too heavy…just perfect) in great olive oil.
I wanted to make a meal out of this, but had a very hard time not eating all of the fish straight from the tin. Instead I comprimised and made a very quick bite of a saltine with kewpie mayo, some of the trout and some chopped pickle to hold me over until my rice bowl was ready ;)
A new favorite.
